Pain in any part of the back is referred to as Back Pain. It generally originates from the muscles, nerves, bones, joints or any other structures in the spine. Back Pain is a common pain found in today’s generation due to a heavy work load. Almost everybody has back pain at some point in their lives. According to the National Institute of Health, Back Pain is the second most common neurological disorder. However, in severe and persistent cases of back pain, it is important to seek medical advice so that a correct diagnosis can be made and appropriate treatment given. Treatment for back pain will usually depend on the underlying cause of the condition. For example, pain that is caused by some types of arthritis may be treated using specific medicines.
